Every year, the University of Wuppertal honours outstanding teaching with the "Wuppertal Lehrlöwe" award. This is determined from course evaluations by students.

In 2022, Prof Dr Gertrud Lohaus was awarded this prize in the category "Course with 50 participants and more", which is endowed with 5000 euros. Many thanks to all students involved. See also here.
